I managed to squeeze in what I wanted before they left:
Recording of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is a short but wonderful Metroidvania with some unique elements that I think is worth buying.
Was interesting to replay fire clock, I hadn’t played it since release but was much less enthusiastic about its story/gameplay the second time around. Still a nice game but could use a 60fps patch. In slower games, 30fps isn’t usually a bother, but it felt bad here.
lake has an interesting premise; Delivering mail to a small community around the eponymous lake, but it fails in too many areas: technical performance, writing, and gameplay that surpasses it’s welcome and tires quickly. I still enjoyed parts of it but needed more momentum.
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Illusionous Ageâ„¢ – Definitive Editionto give it its full title, in solidarity with the epic Tim Rogers review is an all-time JRPG classic, too bad it’s disappearing but it’s totally worth buying for anyone who enjoys JRPGs.
