Havell’s Meditate Air Purifier
It features advanced TiO2 (Titanium Dioxide) coated plates and UV-C and UV-A lights that cause a photocatalytic oxidation process to not only filter the pollutants, but destroy them without creating any harmful by-products. With cylindrical design, it promises 360 degree cleaning.

Meditate Air Purifier features six levels of intense air purification that use advanced SpaceTech technology to remove the finest impurities. The pre-filter stage cleans the air of PM (particulate matter) using an integrated filter (pre-filter fabric, medical H14 HEPA filter and granular activated carbon filter).

The second stage of air purification degenerates the viruses/bacteria and hazardous gases by exposing the air to specific wavelengths of light (UV-C & A) and the reaction is catalyzed by specific catalysts (strontium titanate doped with palladium & nanosilver). This process, called photocatalytic oxidation, is adapted from the cleaning technology used for space stations – but modified by partially mixing strontium, palladium and nanosilver to increase the effectiveness of the oxidation and thereby degenerate the pathogens much faster.

The hazardous gases such as formaldehyde, ethylene and ozone are broken down into basic environmental components and thus removed from the environment, the company said.
The smartphone apps allow users to get predictive analytics of air quality, the option to automatically turn on and off for daily use, and filter lifespan indicators and notifications. It also supports the digital assistant Alexa and can also be configured for the Google Home app.

It comes with the AQI monitor. It has three capacitive touch buttons for power, mode and toggle. The display shows important parameters such as air quality, battery life and fan speed.

Airofit Pro
Medical technology company Xplore Health Technologies earlier this week launched Airofit Pro, touted in India as the world’s best respiratory muscle training (RMT) device.

The device is able to train both the inspiratory and expiratory muscles. The device essentially works by subjecting the diaphragm and other respiratory muscles to resistance training, an exercise using resistance wheels that provide the individual with adjustable but restricted airflow. Because resistance causes respiratory muscle fatigue, muscle tissue growth compensates for it, making respiratory muscles more robust and allowing for longer and deeper breathing, the company noted.

Based on age, gender, height and other parameters, the company offers 17 unique breathing sessions. The device also supports a real-time live instruction platform that guides an individual through all exercises and sessions while tracking their progress derived from real-time data.

In addition to RMT, the device also addresses other related aspects of breathing, such as: B. Respiratory strength, vital capacity, anaerobic threshold and relaxation. It costs Rs 34,990.
