Meanwhile, if you are wondering how to transfer WhatsApp chats from iPhone to Android, here are the steps you need to follow:
According to Google’s official blog post, the process is very simple. All users need to do is connect the two smartphones via cable and WhatsApp Chat will transfer. Just ensure that the Android smartphone is either new or has been factory reset before initiating the process.
Start with setting up the new Android device
Then, take a USB Type-C to Lightning cable and connect the two smartphones
When prompted, scan the QR code on the iPhone to launch WhatsApp and transfer all the conversations and media on the new Android device.
In case, the QR scan does not work or any other issue, head to Settings -> Chats -> Move chats to Android on your iPhone and then scan the QR code to initiate the process.
Samsung Galaxy smartphone users can also do the same process using the Samsung Smart Switch app.
