If you’re wondering how to watch Apple TV Plus on Android, you’ve probably heard about the great content this streaming service has and want to know if it works on your Android device. Finally, some of the best Apple TV Plus shows include the acclaimed football series Ted Lasso, as well as The Morning Show, For All Mankind, and many others.
Of course, Apple TV+ runs with sophisticated apps on all Apple devices, including the iPhone, of course. So you might think that using an Android device means you can’t use the service. Well, fear not, because that is not the case. Although there isn’t a dedicated Android app for watching Apple TV+ on Android, you can still use the service through a browser. The experience isn’t quite the same, but it does mean users of non-Apple devices aren’t entirely left out.
Enjoy AppleTVPlus on Android is easy enough once you’ve set up an account, and you don’t need to spend a fortune to view it, either, as the subscription costs are about the same as competitors such as Android DisneyPlus, Netflix and Prime video. Here we’re using an Android phone, but the same process for watching Apple TV Plus also applies to an Android tablet.
How to watch Apple TV Plus on Android
1. Start a browser on your Android device (we used Chrome here, but others are perfectly fine).
2. now navigate to tv.apple.com (opens in new tab).
3. You land on the Apple TV Plus website.
If you have an Apple TV Plus account, Tap Sign In then log in as usual and Proceed to step 7 below.
If you don’t have an Apple TV Plus account, Tap Start Free Trial. You can try the streaming service for seven days, after which you’ll have to pay $6.99/£6.99 every month.
4. You need an AppleID to watch Apple TV. You may already have one AppleID – This is very likely if you have recently owned (or still have) an Apple device such as an iPhone, iPad or Mac. If this is the case, Tap Sign In and log in as usualthen Proceed to step 6 under. Otherwise, select Register.
5. When you log in Enter an email address (This will then be your Apple ID). fill in your personal information and Tap Next.
6. You are told that you can start a seven-day free trial and then start paying on a set date. Tap Subscribe precede.
7. Now you can Start searching for content on Apple TV Plus. When you play an episode or movie in a series, the content runs in the browser.
Tap the screen to access the controls such as play/pause, rewind and fast forward and subtitles. Tap on the arrow icon to expand the field of view.
