The company believes both devices can meet the beauty needs of people with limited hand and arm mobility.

It is estimated that 50 million people worldwide live with limited fine motor skills and find daily gestures such as applying makeup challenging.

Brow Magic provides users with an at-home personalized brow look based on their natural brow and facial features that can otherwise take multiple products, time, expertise, and expensive professional services.

Using AR technology, the device scans the user’s face and provides recommendations for microblading, micro-shading or filler effects.

To use the device, users need to open the L’Oréal Brow Magic app, scan the face with the Modiface Brow Reader, select the desired shape, thickness and effect, sweep the L’Oréal Brow Magic primer through the brows and move the printer across the eyebrow in a single sweeping motion.

The eyebrow look created by Brow Magic can be easily removed with a standard make-up remover. L’Oréal plans to launch the product later this year.

HAPTA, the computer-controlled makeup applicator, features intelligent motion controls that allow users to apply makeup with ease and precision that is otherwise difficult to achieve.

The gadget is equipped with magnetic attachment that allows 360 degree rotation and 180 degree bending.

Users can lock the device in the intended position, apply and save the adjusted setting for future use.

The product comes with a built-in rechargeable battery that takes three hours to fully charge. The device can be used for an hour or about 10 uses on a single charge.

HAPTA will be piloted with L’Oréal-owned Lancôme in 2023, initially as a lipstick applicator, followed by other makeup applications in the future.
