Nintendo Switch users can save some money on digital games thanks to the return of game vouchers. Two game coupons can now be purchased for $99.98 and each can be redeemed for a select first party game. The offer is only valid for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers and the vouchers can be redeemed up to one year after purchase. Nintendo has published a list of eligible games, many of which typically cost $59.99, allowing subscribers to save up to $10 on each game! The full list is pretty extensive (and can be found right here), but here’s a sample of what’s available:
- Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe (Pre-Order)
- Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon (Pre-Order)
- Engage Fire Emblem
- turn 3
- Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3
- Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
- Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
- Mario Strikers: Battle League
- Kirby and the forgotten land
Those who want to take advantage of this offer should think about how to make the most of it! For example upcoming games like Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe And Bayonet origins make a lot more sense than Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl; The first two games will likely not see a price drop for a while, but the latter two have been discounted several times since releasing in 2021. live one life wouldn’t make much sense either, since the game’s eShop price is $49.99; Subscribers had better pick a game that costs $59.99 and save $10. Both coupons do not have to be used at the same time, and subscribers can have up to eight coupons in their account at one time.
It’s been almost six years since the Nintendo Switch was released, and the system has built up an impressive library in that time. Chances are, most owners haven’t reviewed every first-party game released during this time and should find something they enjoy. If you don’t mind buying digital games, Nintendo Switch game vouchers are a great way to snag something you may have missed!
