PlayStation has released a new video focusing on some of the biggest new video games coming to PS5 and PS4 in 2023 elden ring and God of War Ragnarok the best rated titles of the past year.
Sony in particular released several games in 2022 Horizon forbidden west, Gran Turismo 7and The Last of Us Part 1 all start to positive reviews. This list does not include PlayStation games released on PC such as God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredand Sackboy: A great adventure. Now Sony has uploaded a new video highlighting some of the notable games coming to PS5 and PS4 in 2023.
Titled Upcoming Games 2023, the over two-minute video gives fans an introduction to some of the new games confirmed for release this year on PS4 and PS5. The video is a collection of quick glimpses of footage from the various games coming out in 2023, and it kicks off with an onslaught of PS5-exclusive AAA titles like Final Fantasy 16, Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores DLC and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Third-party games such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Resident Evil 4, Hogwarts legacy, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, street fighter 6, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and more. Other games like Alone in the dark, agesand The Lords of the Fallen are also part of the video. Fans should note that the video notes games that will only release on PS5, without such a disclaimer for titles that will be released on both PlayStation consoles.
PS VR2 will be released in February 2023 and the video features some notable VR games like Firewall Ultra and horizon call of the mountain. The rest of the footage is a balance between AAA games and indie titles, with Chia, Season: A Letter to the Future, Wild Heartsand Destiny 2: Lightfall everything is acknowledged.
This PlayStation video showcases the wide variety of games coming out in 2023, with the first few months already packed with new releases. It should be noted that the footage only includes announced games with a confirmed release window, as various publishers will be releasing other games on both consoles this year. Additionally, such videos usually consist of games that have a marketing partnership with PlayStation, so any multi-platform game that has a deal with Microsoft is unlikely to be included in the collection.
