PlayStation has announced the games for the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium services for November 2022.
Out of 15th of November, Players with mid-tier and top-tier subscriptions get access to over 20 more games. That’s a lot to cover, so let’s jump right in.
PS Plus extra is the middle tier that gives players access to a large library of PS4 and PS5 games to download to their consoles. Similar to Xbox Game Pass, these games will toggle in and out, so it’s worth keeping an eye on your favorites.
Leading the pack is the whole thing Kingdom Hearts Series on PS4. That is KH 1.5 + 2.5 HD ReMIX (four games and two films), KH HD 2.8 final chapter prologue (a full game, a short game and another film), Kingdom Hearts III (apparently without DLC) and KH: Melody of Memory (a rhythm action game).

Sticking with RPGs, Bethesda’s giant The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim joins the service with both PS4 and PS5 versions. Likewise the 90s platformer remake Oddworld: Soul Stormtactical shooter Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siegespace combat title Choirand time manipulation puzzles The Gardens join all extra with PS4 and PS5 options.
Other games coming this month are The department 2, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Earth Defense Forces games Iron Rain and world brothers, Onee Chanbara originand the highly acclaimed What remains of Edith Finch. These are all PS4 games but they all work fine on PS5 (Edith Fink has a native PS5 version but it seems that version is not included).

PS Plus Premiumthe top tier, adds hundreds more games to subscribers’ libraries through remasters, remakes, ports, stream-only PS3 games, and emulated PS1, PSP, and PS2 games, while streaming options for games on all systems to be added.
Unfortunately, it’s another disappointing month with no more emulated games coming to the service despite previous leaks. The only games being added to the Premium range are streamed PS3 games, which were removed from the service during the rebrand earlier this year.
These games are the original Ratchet & Clank Trilogy, spin off Ratchet: Blocked (aka Ratchet: Gladiator) and fourth entry tools of destruction.

It’s clear that Extra gets the most attention from Sony – by its own logic, the Kingdom Hearts and Skyrim remasters and strange world The remake was only supposed to be included in the Premium tier – but at just £16 more a year for the extended catalog and streaming, Premium is still good value. However, it’s easy to see why fans are so disappointed by the lack of ‘new’ PS1 and PSP classics, especially when they were so heavily promoted when the tiers were launched.
It’s good to know that on the same day these titles are added, subscribers will lose access to the following games: the mafia Trilogy, greedcase, ride 4 and MXGP 2021.
