PlayStation Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium subscribers lose one of the best “free” games available to anyone who subscribes to the two more expensive tiers of subscription service. For those who don’t know, PS Plus comes in three forms. There is the cheapest form, namely PlayStation Plus Essential. This is just the original version of the subscription service that gives out a few “free games” every month. Then there’s PlayStation Plus Extra, which is access to a massive library of PS4 and PS5 games. And then there’s PlayStation Plus Plus Premium, meaning PS Plus Extra, plus access to a library of legacy games for PS3, PS2, PS1 and PSP. So this discrepancy will not affect PS Plus Essential subscribers, but will affect all other subscribers.
The game in question is from Ubisoft and is the latest and most popular release of the Assassin’s Creed Series. That’s correct, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla leaves the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium Libraries. More specifically, it will be released on December 20th. This comes as a serious blow to subscribers as it is easily one of the most popular games available through the subscription service. And unfortunately, a month isn’t a very long time to beat it before it goes. The main story alone lasts 60 hours. If you want to do the main story and the more compelling side content, look at 90 to 100 hours. And God help you if you want to 100 percent play through the game beforehand, because that takes about 140 to 150 hours.
Of course there is a possibility that the game will return in the future, but if it does it will be a while since a game is often left permanently or at least for a couple of years once it is left, otherwise PlayStation and Ubisoft would do so Just renew the deal so it never comes off again.
“That Assassin’s Creed The franchise has come quite a long way since the original, and while there have been a few missteps along the way, Ubisoft has breathed new life into the franchise with Oorigins and then refined the experience further and created one of the best assassins in the franchise in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.” “Now it comes Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, a game trying to forge its own unique identity while bringing back elements from previous entries in fresh new ways. That’s a big and ambitious job, though Valhalla pulls through everything with flair and weaves all these disparate elements into a wonderfully compelling whole.”
