Samsung is expanding game streaming to millions more devices with 2500+ games, holiday bundles, backwards compatibility and 4K

Announced exciting new ways for gamers to experience game streaming with the addition of new gaming partners, new gaming bundle offerings, the launch of game streaming for select Samsung 2021 TV models and 4K, delivering on its promise from onward bring the future of gaming to consumers.

Antstream Arcade and Blacknut join Samsung’s game streaming offering

Antstream Arcade is the world’s largest cloud gaming service, giving players access to over 1,500 legendary games and new multiplayer challenges and tournaments every week. Samsung TV owners will soon be able to battle the best games of the 80s, 90s and 00s, from Pac-Man to Mortal Kombat and Metal Slug, with their friends and global community on select Samsung Smart TVs.

Delivering cloud games to millions of Samsung Smart TV owners in 2021

By the end of the year, Samsung is giving more gamers access to game streaming via select 2021 Samsung Smart TVs. Samsung will provide individual apps from game streaming partners Xbox, Amazon Luna, NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Utomik, with Blacknut and Antstream Arcade to follow in 2023. By extending the game streaming experience to select 2021 Samsung Smart TVs[1]Existing Samsung customers now have instant access to the same games available through the Samsung Gaming Hub on 2022 smart TVs and monitors.

“When Samsung Gaming Hub launched for 2022 TV models earlier this year, the most common question we received was, ‘When will game streaming come to my 2021 TV?’ Today we are excited to announce to our eager fans that they will be able to play the games they love before the end of the year.” said Mike Lucero, Head of Product for Gaming at Samsung Electronics. “With any leading Bluetooth-enabled gaming controller and internet connection, millions of gamers can access an extensive library of games, ranging from the best AAAs to the hottest indie and retro, directly through partner apps on select 2021 Samsung Smart TVs -Games gives devices a preferred destination for game streaming.”

Depending on availability in the Samsung App Store, the individual gaming apps can be downloaded directly onto the television via the Media Hub.

4K gaming available on Samsung Smart TVs via NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW

The offer, which will be rolling out in just a few weeks, will allow GeForce NOW gamers to natively stream PC games in resolutions up to 4K at 60fps in 2022 and select 2021 Samsung Smart TVs without compromising on downloads, Having to wait for installations, patches or updates. GeForce NOW Premium membership is required for an enhanced experience with 4K resolution, faster frame rates, RTX ON, priority access to NVIDIA gaming servers, and extended session lengths of 8 hours.

Samsung and Conan O’Brien team Coco is excited to celebrate a long-awaited new installment in the hit series; Clueless gamer.
