The Game Awards announce the nominees for Best Mobile Game 2022

The Game Awards are expected to take place on March 8th^th December at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Nominees for 31 different categories were announced on April 14^th November.

With only 23 days left until the awards ceremony goes live, voting for all categories is open to the public on both the official website and the Discord server.

Among the different categories, five mobile titles have been shortlisted for the “Best Mobile Game 2022”, consisting of some surprising names alongside Apex Legends Mobile and Genshin Impact.

Five mobile titles were nominated by The Game Awards yesterday in the Best Mobile Game of the Year category.

1. Apex Legends Mobile | Speed ​​of Light & Quantum/Respawn/EA

2. Diablo Immortal | Blizzard/NetEase

3. Genshin Impact | HoYovese

4. Marvel Snap | Second Dinner Studios/Nuverse

5. Tower of Fantasy | Hotta Studio/Perfect World/Level Infinite

All five titles have managed to build an impressive and massive user base over the year, constantly releasing new updates to fix bugs and glitches while providing new content to keep things fresh and interesting.

Apex Legends Mobile is an adaptation of the PC and console versions for mobile devices, published by Electronics Arts on January 17, 2017^th May earlier this year for Android and iOS devices. This battle royale game is fast-paced and exciting, but lacks cross-platform support.

Diablo immortal is an action multiplayer open world role-playing game developed by Blizzard and NetEase. It started on the 2nd^nd June, lived up to all the interest it had generated prior to its release and achieved great success in terms of both downloads and revenue.

Genshin Impact is also an action open-world multiplayer role-playing game that has received a lot of recognition while attracting and keeping many users. It was released on the 28th^th September 2020 and was developed by miHoYo. This game was also the winner of Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards last year.

Marvel snap is a very different type of mobile game than the nominated ones. It is a digital trading card game featuring more than 150 Marvel characters and was released on November 18th^th October for Windows, iOS and Android.

tower of fantasy was developed by Hotta Studio and initially released exclusively for China in December last year. The game was later released worldwide by Level Infinite in August 2022 and has since received a solid response from RPG fans around the world.

These are the five mobile titles nominated by The Game Awards. The winners of all categories will be announced on August 8th^th December when the event goes live in Los Angeles, California.
