In a blog post, Sony has published the most downloaded games in the PlayStation Store over the course of 2022. The post lists the most popular downloads on PS5, PS4 and PSVR in US/Canada and EU regions.
Unsurprisingly, most of the listings are AAA games that continue to enjoy the attention of the mainstream community. But indie titles like Among Us and The Forest have also made it. It is also worth noting that the annual football sim FIFA has ranked first in the EU for the second year in a row.

Moving on to VR titles, Beat Saber, Job Simulator and Superhot VR continue to drive the most downloads on PSVR. Additionally, Fall Guys – which has been free to play since June 2022 – recorded the most downloads among free to play titles.
