The launch of the Galaxy S23 series is just around the corner and it is among the most anticipated smartphones to launch this year. After a leak revealed the design of the upcoming Galaxy S23 smartphone, a new leak has revealed important information about its camera.

The Galaxy S23 series is expected to include three devices – the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23 Plus and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. As with each iteration of the devices, some features will be reserved for the top-end Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Samsung usually offers the best camera setup in the Ultra variant. The company is reportedly offering a “night vision” camera this time with the S23 Ultra. That was
revealed from the popular tipster Ice Universe on Twitter.

“I must reiterate that the S23 Ultra’s night camera is truly ‘night vision,'” Ice Universe said in a tweet. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is said to offer excellent night and low-light images, which the company’s Galaxy S22 Ultra is already good at.

Set up the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra camera

While the tipster hasn’t revealed the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s camera setup, previous reports have revealed that the device will come with a quad-camera setup on the back, including a 200-megapixel primary camera that’s expected to be an updated version of ISOCELL will be HP1 sensor. In addition, the device will reportedly feature a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel periscope camera with 10x optical zoom.

The device is reportedly capable of recording 8K video at 30 FPS.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch date

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Book at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event. The event is expected to take place on February 1st. The Korean giant is also expected to unveil OneUI 5.1 at the event.
