The 2022 Digital Personal Data Protection Bill comes after the government withdrew the 2019 Personal Data Protection Bill from Parliament. The draft law is open for feedback, it remains to be seen how internet users, industry and civil society will react to the new regulations. While we await the final form of the bill and its implications, the introduction of the bill is a step towards a dedicated privacy framework that is badly needed as the economy becomes increasingly digitized and more Indians engage on social media.

Earlier this month, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 set the record for becoming the franchise's fastest game to surpass $1 billion in sales.  It accomplished the feat within 10 days of launch.

Qualcomm hasn't said when the new chipset will make its way into phones, nor has it announced the names of the companies that will be the first to offer the new SoC.
