These Nokia smartphones will be the first to receive the Android 13 update

HMD Global-owned Nokia has reportedly released the names of the smartphones eligible for the Android 13 update. According to a report by IT Home – a Chinese website – the company has shortlisted five Nokia phones to receive the update. Nokia recently announced that all devices eligible for the upgrade have been updated to Android 12 and that the company is now focused on rolling out Android 13.

According to the report, Nokia Mobile has confirmed the names of five smartphones that will be the first to receive the update. These include Nokia XR20 5G, Nokia G50 5G, Nokia G11 Plus, Nokia X20 5G and Nokia X10 5G. According to the report, all of these five phones meet Google’s recommended Android Enterprise requirements. Although other Nokia phones like the Nokia X30 5G and Nokia G60 5G are on the AER list, they don’t show support for Android 13, the report adds.

Nokia recently launched the Nokia G60 5G phone in India. It is a mid-range phone that comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G octa-core processor. It has a 50 MP main camera on the back and an 8 MP camera on the front for selfies. The Nokia G60 5G phone comes with a price tag of €29,999. The handset is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and has 128 GB of internal storage capacity.

The smartphone features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone’s display has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top and offers a peak brightness of 500 nits.

The Nokia G60 5G smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G octa-core processor and runs on the Android 12 operating system. Nokia promises up to three operating system upgrades with the Nokia G60 5G, as well as monthly Android security updates for up to three years. The device is supported by a 4,500 mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. It has an IP52 rating and is waterproof and dustproof.
