There is an interesting feature called “Theater Mode” that we only had to use once. You can set the wearable’s brightness high to be more visible under the sun, but nobody wants to see a bright light between a movie, especially if it’s a DC movie, which has a darker tone. (guess which one). Now instead of going to settings, tapping “Brightness” and then adjusting the brightness levels, you can just swipe down on the home screen and tap the “Reel” icon to activate “Theater Mode”. The Titan Talk turns off vibration and lowers the brightness to levels where you can easily see notifications, time, weather, and more without disturbing the person sitting right next to you—with just a tap.
Other practical functions include controlling music that is already being played on the connected smartphone or tablet. There is an AI Voice feature that has a Siri-like animation but calls the Google Assistant on my Android phone. The idea is simple and usually works when the connected device is far away from you. Tap the animated button and give a command like “Read the news”. Now you can do this even if you don’t have a smartwatch on your wrist. Just say “Hey Google! read the news”, done. So you don’t really need the AI voice function.
You can control the camera, but it is of limited use. First you need to select the camera function on your watch, then tap on the notification on the connected phone to open the camera, choose between the front and back camera of the connected phone and then click on a picture. There is also a flashlight function.
You can also find your misplaced phone with your watch. Just tap on the option and it will start ringing and your phone’s LED flash will light up for you to quickly find your phone. There are breathing exercises, a calculator, and two games that, to be honest, you may never play. You can also get reminders about sedentary activities and drinking water. You can control the time, e.g. B. in the time interval after which the watch should prompt you to move and take a sip.
