WASHINGTON, June 15 (Reuters) – A bunch of 10 Republican U.S. senators on Tuesday urged Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to direct her division to work sooner to establish new American applied sciences that China’s authorities may misuse if exported to that nation.
The letter led by Senator Tom Cotton and seen by Reuters urged the division to establish “rising and foundational applied sciences” as required below a 2018 regulation.
