Xbox will release an exclusive game called “Redfall” on the platform. The game is reportedly due out in May this year – most likely in the first week itself.
About the game
Redfall is being developed by Arkane Studios, which Microsoft acquired with its 2021 acquisition of ZeniMax Media, Windows Central reported. Redfall will be joining the game Starfield as part of the tech giant’s big lineup of Xbox and PC gaming consoles.
In the open-world action game Redfall, up to four friends can participate in drop-in co-op to help rid the island town of a deadly vampire infection.
Additionally, the developer emphasizes that players who want a more traditional Arkane experience can still enjoy the immersive sim solo gameplay the studio is known for, the report said.
In March 2021, the European Commission approved Microsoft’s $7.5 billion deal to acquire ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, one of the largest private games developers and publishers in the world.

Meanwhile, the tech giant’s lawyers announced last month that three upcoming games from Bethesda Softworks will be Xbox exclusives.
