Xbox Live Gold subscribers get the second free game of 2023

Xbox Live Gold subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X have a new “free” game to enjoy, courtesy of Games With Gold and its January offer. Earlier this month, the first free game with Games With Gold for 2023 was made available. This game is free to download until the end of the month, and now this year’s second free game is coming with Games With Gold. Unlike the first game, this one is free to download until the middle of next month, aka February 15th.

The new game in question is carnauts from developer Denki and publisher Curve Digital. Released in 2019, the game does not have a Metacritic score on any platform due to not enough reviewers rating the game. However, it has a “very positive” rating on Steam, with 89 percent positively rating the game from over 3,000 Steam users.

“In carnauts You have to build, create and automate,” reads an official blurb about the game. ‚ÄúStart by founding a colony, crafting bots and teaching them using Scratch-style programming to build an ever-evolving autonomous paradise of farming, industry and enlightenment.

Once you’ve claimed the game, you can keep it forever, with one condition: you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. If your subscription expires, you will lose access to the game until you renew your subscription. In the meantime, it’s important to note that Xbox Live Gold is part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So if you’re subscribed to the premium tier of Xbox Game Pass, be sure to redeem this offer if you’re interested.
