The tweet also suggests that the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, which debuted in China last year, will come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor and Optical image stabilization (OIS) technology on board is also expected to be present in the Indian variant.

Xiaomi recently unveiled a new range of smartphones with the launch of the Redmi Note 12 series in China. The series includes Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
Redmi Note 12 Pro (Indian variant) expected specifications
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is expected to have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The smartphone is said to offer a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. Rumor has it that the device will run MIUI 13 is based on Android 12 and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
As discussed above, the Redmi Note 12 Pro is expected to feature a triple rear camera that can include a 50MP Sony IMX766 OIS sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone may have a 16-megapixel front shooter.
Redmi Note 12 Pro is expected to be supported by a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
