Xiaomi will present the Redmi Note 12 5G series smartphones today in an event starting at 12 p.m. Despite being an on-site event, the Chinese smartphone maker would be livestreaming the event on its social media channels and YouTube channel. Redmi Note 12 5G
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor, the Redmi Note 12 5G features a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. On the rear is a dual camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is an 8 MP camera sensor on the front. The smartphone is available in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations. It’s powered by a 5,000mAh battery supported by 33W wired charging. Other features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C port. The smartphone is available in the colors blue, white and black.
Redmi Note 12 Pro
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor and a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone supports 67W fast wired charging.
It features a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 900 nits peak brightness. It features a triple camera system on the rear, with a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front of the phone.
The smartphone is available in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations. It is available in blue, white, black and purple colors. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Redmi Note 12 Pro+
Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor and a 5,000mAh battery, the Plus model is available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and support for Dolby Vision. It features a triple camera system on the rear, with a 200MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front of the phone.
It is available in blue, white and black colors. The phone supports 120W Hypercharge wired charging. The smartphone starts the MIUI 13 interface based on the Android 12 operating system. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and dual SIM with 5G support.
